WORX 20v Review
When it comes to choosing the right drill for the home, there are so many different aspects to consider, from the level of torque to the voltage and many other things in between. As well as this, you also need to consider the brand that you are going to choose.
There are plenty of power tool brands out there with solid reputations, so choosing the right one can be really tricky. One of the more popular power tool brands on the market right now is WORX. They have a range of drills and other power tools too.

Pros:
- This drill offers a lot of power, thanks to the 20v lithium ion battery.
- The keyless chuck makes changing the bits very easy indeed.
- The battery power is fantastic and there is a quick charge option.
- There is plenty of torque.
- This WORX drill comes with a very nice carry case.
Cons:
- The speed trigger could perhaps be a little more sensitive.
The Review
Having tested out plenty of WORX power tools in the past, we were fairly confident that this drill would impress us and we were definitely not disappointed. First of all, let’s take a closer look at the design. If you have used WORX tools before, then you will be familiar with the design of this drill as it fits the theme of the rest of the range.
The drill itself feels very well put together and the materials definitely feel of a high quality. It isn’t exactly lightweight, but it isn’t too heavy either, as long as you are not going to be using it for very large projects. Changing the drill bit is very easy thanks to the keyless chuck which is a very common feature on drills these days.
One thing that really surprised us with this WORX drill is the amount of power that you get from it. With 40Nm of torque, you really do get a lot of power. This is helped by the fact that the drill is powered by a 20v lithium ion battery. For larger scale projects, this cordless drill is perfect.
Something that we were very impressed with is the battery life that you get with this drill. We were actually able to complete more than one fairly large scale projects without it running out. We also liked that there is a quick charge option for the smaller scale projects around the home.
Along with the drill, you also get a very nice carry case, which we actually found to be very beneficial indeed. The only thing that we didn’t really like is that the speed trigger could be a little more sensitive. In some cases we found that we had to press it quite hard to get it to work properly.
Overall, we were very impressed with this drill from WORX. It does cost a little more money, but we definitely felt that it was worth the extra money.
